We knew from the very beginning that Ryan Schneider had to be part of Mármol&Fa. His work carries something ancient and immediate at once — as if it had emerged from the desert itself. Drawing from the raw landscapes of California’s Mojave Desert, Schneider creates sculptural forms that feel both archaeological and futuristic, balancing mythology, mysticism and instinct through wood, stone, bronze and color.
Rooted in a deep reverence for nature and shaped by echoes of European Modernism and pre-Christian traditions, Ryan’s practice explores the sacred through material and form. Angular, meditative and monumental, his works evoke primal human memory while projecting an almost otherworldly presence, where the organic and the spiritual converge into a language that feels timeless.
